As an ode to traditional bottle paintings created throughout art history, bottles are a recurring motif in my work. Created over a long period of time, these multi-layered vessel paintings hold a plethora of emotive stories within their pigmented memories.  I am curious about their enigmatic nature and the vast array of questions and interpretations that may arise.

My hope is that this series can serve as a reminder to pause and reflect on the vessels within our own lives.

What do they hold?
What do *we* hold?

Consider:

What is held within the vessels that serve you lately?

Nourishment? Deprivation?

Joy? Pain?

Full? Empty?

....somewhere in between?.....

How does the vessel of your human flesh feel?

What can we do today to create a new elixir to embody a more fulfilling state of being?!

What can we concoct that will serve us with better health; Expanded joy?

What can this bottle show us, tell us, and teach us?
